Pros

- Inspiring mission working on robotics and improving patient access to advanced therapies - Extremely bright and technically strong team with deep expertise across robotics, hardware, software, operations, and science. I love working alongside this many PhDs, researchers, and experienced operators in one company - Great culture with low ego and very little office politics. People generally enjoy working together here - High level of ownership and autonomy - Fast execution and ability to move quickly

Cons

- Team has been under-resourced at times, so people are often stretched across multiple areas - Strong focus on shipping quickly, sometimes at the expense of longer-term planning, scalability, or process - Leadership team was thin for a period, although this has improved with recent hires - Pace and deadlines can be intense at times depending on the team and company priorities

Pros

Working at multiply labs has been the most rewarding work of my life. Being surrounded by some of the brightest minds in robotics, I have gained invaluable skills. Getting to work on a potentially life-changing product makes work feel like play.

Cons

- Benefits could be better - Pay is alright for comparable robotics companies. - Unrealistic deadlines set for engineers

Pros

- Engaging work with great mission. Limited micromanagement and strong empowering of ICs - Strong business position and outlook - Recently filled out the leadership team and support functions - Great culture and team to work with. Generally good people with a strong work ethic and drive. - Really good benefits for a startup. 401k match, child leave, health benefits, lunches, commuter benefits, etc. Also great snacks/coffee.

Cons

- There is a difference between stretch goals and unattainable goals and a lot of times they fall into the unattainable category which can drive poor work life balance to try and meet them, However work life balance doesn't necessarily feel unfair for a scaling startup. - Processes and procedures still very adhoc and inefficient though getting better with additional hires - While the team is great and has promoted from within it is relatively junior to include managers and functional experience can be limited -Facilities and test infrastructure could use some work
