Pros
- Engaging work with great mission. Limited micromanagement and strong empowering of ICs
- Strong business position and outlook
- Recently filled out the leadership team and support functions
- Great culture and team to work with. Generally good people with a strong work ethic and drive.
- Really good benefits for a startup. 401k match, child leave, health benefits, lunches, commuter benefits, etc. Also great snacks/coffee.
Cons
- There is a difference between stretch goals and unattainable goals and a lot of times they fall into the unattainable category which can drive poor work life balance to try and meet them, However work life balance doesn't necessarily feel unfair for a scaling startup.
- Processes and procedures still very adhoc and inefficient though getting better with additional hires
- While the team is great and has promoted from within it is relatively junior to include managers and functional experience can be limited
-Facilities and test infrastructure could use some work
