Pros

Some of the work is interesting and some kind people within your team

Cons

Low level managers are completely untrained and in my experience awful at their jobs. They do not know how to manage people or train people and I received incompetent and confusing feedback. Untrained in diversity. Management are focused on data over people. Constantly talk about the “fast growing nature” of the job, just use this an excuse if you do not receive any support on starting a job with them. The role was no particularly fast natured, but there certainly was little support due to busy and untrained line managers. Little space for pay raises or promotions due to pay freeze and random selection of who to promote. Really great people who’d been there for years you weren’t getting promoted. You could take on extra roles and but this wouldn’t ensure anything. I got told my someone when I first joined “it’s kind of like being in a cult you just have to go with it” which is the perfect line to close this off with.

Hi, We appreciate your frank feedback. It’s clear there’s some difference between our perception and your experience of Multiverse. To address your point on data-driven decisions, we believe data is crucial to measuring success and making smart, thoughtful decisions - and I think most businesses would agree. However this shouldn’t take away from our people-first approach. I hear your feedback on manager training and we launched a new 9 month leadership programme for all managers at Multiverse in January and we’re already receiving great feedback and results on this. We understand rapid growth can be a challenge, but it’s also an opportunity - we definitely see it that way, and at all levels make space to support employees to reach their potential. As for opportunities and pay raises, my team has spent a lot (!) of time on a well-thought reward system, designed to recognise team members on merit and competency, in a fair and equitable way. Lastly, on being a 'cult' - this has popped up in reviews before and it always makes me chuckle. Thank you for sharing your perspective and feedback about your time at Multiverse. All the best with your future career paths. Best, Paige - VP People + Talent

Pros

- great training and development / high standards - sellers can earn high 6 figures. There are multiple 7 figure earners at the top - executive team and leadership has a history of winning big - the people are highly skilled and talented, growth mindsets everywhere

Cons

- not really a con for me but it’s a competitive environment (everyone is eager to prove) - if you’re not ready to excel and work hard you could fall short of teammates who are
