Pros
- As an intern, I was given responsibilities that I felt positively impacted the organization, as opposed to primarily insignificant or trivial tasks. - The staff was welcoming and generous with their time and support. - Encouraged to take on projects that I felt passionately about.
Cons
- Because it is a small team, there will always be some 'grunt work', but that is to be expected at nonprofit internships. - Internships are unpaid.
