Pros
1) Most people here are nice to work with - especially in the accounting group. 2) They will move you around to different departments if you would like to do so. 3) Competitive Salary 4) Love Shares - but only if you vest (partial vesting occurs after 3 years completed with the company - measured from each Jan 1). But they are giving these out less and less. 5) Convenient office location
Cons
Oh where to begin: 1) Management is terrible. They gave someone the position that has no clue about what they are doing. This person takes 0 responsibility for any of the issues and blames middle management for everything. Will throw you under the bus to save himself. Happened on multiple occasions. 2) They bought a terrible company, that was severely mismanaged and thought they were going to be able to manage it properly. There are no systems in place. They overpaid for this company and their backroom systems. Then they blame middle management when they do not hit the numbers they expect to hit. 2) Absolutely no recognition for a job well done, but bet you'll hear it if the slightest thing goes wrong. 3) Management plays favorites and shows favoritism to people that they specifically get hired on at the company. 4) That being said - management (one manager in particular) has brought on all of his previous employees from other companies. 5) Management will talk a problem (specifically "your problem"), but will take no reasonable steps to try to help fix a problem. Rather, management is more focused on drinking at nearby bars. 6) Dysfunctional environment 7) The traders & BD are everything here because they make the money. Everyone else is dispensable.
