Pros

Great team members, good work hours (Mon-Fri) and decent benefits package.

Cons

Most tenured employee is very unprofessional, each person is given an unattainable goal. The commission structure is pennies to a dollar, you get the commission based on a number given at the start of each of your applications (READ IT VERY CAREFULLY). Training program is no existent. Employees are given free reign to say WHATEVER makes the sale (this includes lies and cheating). Leadership are decent but never actually know what's going on. Admin is not even there, everyone relies on one individual to gather information which is not organized. Any employee can say whatever they please in the office. Verbal altercations have taken place in the office and have even persisted with profanity. Leads are absolutely cold calls and this is promoted as a customer service job online......

Pros

At My Utilities, it is never a question that you are seen and supported. From leadership to my peers, I have always been encouraged and valued at MyU. There is opportunity for those who work hard and are good stewards of what they have been given. The culture is unmatched. There is not a person on this team who hasn't found friendship and camaraderie in their coworkers - we truly care about one another. I look forward to coming into work each day, because I enjoy being around those I work alongside. I am passionate about our mission and vision, the emphasis on putting others first. It is a joy to work at MyU!

Pros

Monday thru Friday and salary is decent.

Cons

Leadership has no clue what they're doing, and set unrealistic goals based off of metric data that doesn't have any bearing for the upcoming month. Bonuses that are promised are unattainable (donkey with a carrot on a stick practice). You share your PTO with sick time. There's absolutely no training program, so after 1 week of listening to people talk on the phones, you'll be thrown into the lion's den. You'll have to learn products/pricing, and various OE Tools for over 8 or 9 deferent products, which takes a long time to learn on your own. Security is the main focus to sale, and if you can't sale it, you'll most likely end up quitting or being let go, because you can't hit a sales goal on a consistent bases without it. Commissions are calculated on a collected revenue bases, and every product pays out at different times. So if you crush it 1 month, don't expect the fruits of your labor to pay off, because by the time you collected everything, itll be 1/3rd of what you sold and will only get paida fraction of what you did, since they have tier % of payout. Lastly, the majority of the leads are complete crap, so you're basically cold calling people who are already getting bombarded with other calls, so even having the opportunity to sale is a challenge in itself. Better leads are given to the favorites of the month.
