Pros

Competitive pay, smart and accomplished people, great business model. They've since been acquired and senior execs including the CEO to the SVP of engineering are gone now.

Cons

Too much territorial behavior at the top made it difficult to do your job. The place was driven by fear of being yelled at by the CEO.

Pros

-the Ann Arbor office is full of young, talented individuals who are passionate about their work -management is creative and new products are implemented frequently -there is a large amount of mobility between departments and employees can experience different roles -HR is extremely understanding, approachable, and dedicated to improving the workplace -company hierarchy is fairly flat; lower level employees can make an impact on the company as a whole -the rapid growth of the industry makes the work interesting, exciting and frequently educational -the training provided to new hires at the BDA role is immensely helpful to those who are new to sales -company culture that extends to events outside the office leads to a strong community of co-workers

Cons

-the day-to-day duties in the BDA role are often tedious, tiring and can be frustrating -performance based compensation is sometimes difficult to achieve without exceptional dedication and work ethic

Pros

-Significant opportunities to advance rapidly (less than 2 years with MyBuys, received 3 promotions) -High-exposure to upper-management/executive-team -Fast-growing company, market-leader -Opportunity to manage important initiatives early in your career -Rotational program for new-hires to develop skills in a wide-range of jobs quickly -Management invests heavily in their employees -Fun culture -Opportunities to experience light-business travel -Caring and accommodating environment -Challenging responsibilities -Very little micro-managing, management trusts their employees and give them lots of "rope" -Recognize talent and retains talent well -1:1 mentors to help employees grow

Cons

-Entry-level pay feels relatively low compared to initial value-add but is still a fair for someone just entering the industry w/o directly relevant experience (as you advance, this changes) -Due to rapid growth, some growing-pains exist internally (support engineering keeping up with exponential increases in sales, growth caused some over-crowding in A2 office, etc...) -Downtown Ann Arbor location can present some challenges/costs (parking, traffic, etc...), though we are in the process of finding a new office
