Good and bad - Director of Training Myriad Software Employee Review

Working for Myriad Software for over 10 years had given me the opportunity to learn, grow and be part of an awesome team. This is an organization where you will be able to be part of several projects at any given time. This will not only will give you the opportunity to grow but also to learn about every department in the organization. The environment and culture of Myriad Software is friendly and team/goal oriented.

If you are used to and looking for a big organization culture, this is not for you.

Most of the people working here are great, and the work can be interesting. The location is nice and is out of the way of the usual heavy traffic you'd find in the more popular tech areas.

The management made working here very difficult. Some of the existing reviews might sound over the top, but unfortunately they are not. The CEO runs the company one way, and no other, your ideas are not welcome. There is no room for creative thinking or career advancement. The company is shrinking and will continue to shrink due to the small minded, old school, big corporate management approach. Turnover in the some departments is surprisingly high. The few long term employees here seem to be happy with the 'status quo' and are not concerned about career opportunities. Politics are severe for such a small company. Be prepared to be treated like a retail sales clerk no matter your experience level or qualifications.
