Pros
The people make this job as good as it is. While there are a few frustrating outliers, most everyone is friendly and willing to help or provide instruction when you ask. Never had anyone blow up and most leadership is incredibly flexible when it comes to scheduling or taking time off. There are a lot of interesting and fun events on campus, the facilities are pretty good and being updated often, parking free and plentiful, and if you're working in or interested in the automotive world, you'll pretty much be in heaven.
Cons
Communication across departments is a nightmare, partially due to bad habits / culture. Most people have either been there for a couple of years or 10+ and there is absolutely an unspoken clique system of old school workers who seem to purposely hold onto information or refuse to delegate work to over inflate their ego and sense of importance. Information is not easily passed along, is jumbled or contradictory when it is, and office politics can rival high school level squabbling at times. There are also a lot of senior level people and higher that have zero intentions of moving on or away, so don't expect much upward mobility beyond manager level.
