Pros

NCC Group Domain Services began as Artermis Internet Inc., an independently-run, San Franciso-based Internet security business, but is now the US office of a fairly-traditional, publicly-traded UK company of more than 1,000 employees. Employees are treated well, but in the way that a large UK company treats its employees, not the way a Silicon Valley start-up would. The culture and leadership have definite British overtones, and management values tend to reflect British, rather than Silicon Valley, style and attitude. This is a "pro" if that's what you want. Dress is informal, work hours are not unreasonable, and management is very accessible. Benefits are very good relative to other similar businesses.

Cons

If you are looking for a Silicon Valley-type environment and management, you won't find it at NCC Group Domain Services. It's a button-down administration and management style. There are some concessions to a less formal workplace - fairly well-stocked kitchen, exercise equipment, etc. - but workstation decoration and personalization seem to be frowned upon, for example. There doesn't seem to be any real value attached to personal capital - loyalty isn't a priority. Management is, for the large part, remote - both in distance and attitude.
