Pros

-Pay -Benefits -Able to travel around the world

Cons

-Care more about deadlines and mediocre reports than completing a thorough investigation and assisting the victims. - Heavily influenced by agency politics -Supervisors tend to focus more on their own image and how they're perceived, shifting blame onto others instead of taking responsibility and supporting the team’s growth." -Field training lacks consistency and adequate guidance, yet the employee is held accountable for any failures.

Pros

When I started working at NCIS, I was glad to be there and saw the potential to do a variety of interesting projects for this law enforcement brand in the Navy. People on my team were friendly and very knowledgeable, and experienced, and management wants to help you succeed.

Cons

Onboarding was very long, and getting me connected to the system ran into some challenges. Eventually, I was fully connected but then I decided to take the resignation with benefits because I didn't know if my job was secure to not get laid off after only 6 months. Work-Life balance was great when I started in late 2024, but by early 2025 it was terrible when everyone was forced to return to office fully time with no remote work.
