Pros
The past three Commanding Officers have been great! Senior military and GS employees (GS-13) get their own office. Most military and senior civilians genuinely care about meeting the command mission and the people that work there.
Cons
The building is extremely old and outdated. Internal phone vmail system continuously goes down. More civilians than military, which is good for continuity, but the civilians who have been there for 10-20 years have a nonchalant attitude towards the military personnel. There are a few civilians who are just there to collect a paycheck, which severely hampers the productivity and morale of the command. Difficult to work on and close out taskers due to junior military personnel always being taken away to do excessive collateral duties and volunteer work.
