Pros

Some of the engineers are amazing, friendly and helpful and very very experienced. These are more the senior employees and ones who started before the new culture and hiring shift. With the addition of new personnel and new ownership the hiring practices have went way down hill. Management over the engineering side is faltered, 4 bosses over 1 department, none of them communicate despite spending 30 hours a week in meetings and on weekend retreats. One manager, we'll call him "Mack", he's probably the worst, consistently drinks on company property, bills personal trips to company time and resources, holds grudges if you disagree with one his brilliant ideas and in general lacks the skill set or discipline to hold a position with that sort of authority I believed in this company when I first started, however after working here for years and seeing some of the empty promises, direction of the company and overall abuse of employees, good employees over time has disgusted me. I've watched good engineers and friends terminated over non valid reasons and watched a company who preaches transparency be as secretive about it as any I've seen.

Cons

Upper management needs a serious revamping, too many wanna be shot callers and what used to be a clear and concise goal and direction as become muddled

Pros

Netgain is a great company to work for as an entry job. You have plenty of opportunities to grow your career and train with professionals in the field.

Cons

The only con is some days you will have to stay past your expected end time.

Pros

They go to bat for you over insurance coverage and premium costs… You’re assigned work on your schedule and you can work it.

Cons

Pay raises are minimal. If you work faster than your expected time on something, you’re given more work to compensate. Why be good at your job when you can be subpar and get less work for it? If you apply internally for a position, despite your qualifications, they’ll just hire externally.
