Pros

Up until early this year, the office was very crowded, there was a huge momentum and vibe, we were ALIVE. We have a lot of events where we share good ideas while having some beer or wine and just naturally bond with one another. There were some trips to Germany to meet some colleagues. The office material is top-notch. VERY flexible hybrid model.

Cons

Early this year we started with an agile transition moving into SAFe, we flatten our hierarchies which meant firing some top hierarchy and also took down any senior role, replacing them with roles with no power to act. Because of this, some people left the company. Technically, it's still a very conservative company and is currently focusing on 'damage repair' rather than innovation. Because of this, bright people left the company during this year — don't expect to work with cloud services here. Communication is a mess. There are too many leaks around sensible communication. Some gossip is created and by the time they decide to give the 'news' everyone is already panicked and is either already aware of it or heard some version of it. The office momentum is now gone (a possible consequence of the above), we see very few people at the office now except for very specific days.

Pros

NFON is a great company to work at. They have a great sense of schedule for their projects. Their delivery is great, communication between teams is great. I sensed an enhancement in C level decisions in these years I worked there.

Cons

Flexibility for new ideas is a bit stiff and takes a long time to turn around. Projects I imagined could improve the company's products never took off because of lack of manpower/will to do them.
