Pros

Great foot in the door for insurance and great company event offers. New office building makes for a fresh environment

Cons

The on boarding experience was terrible! Had no idea what the company does, how they earn, or who I even work with. There were no team meetings or introductions. The office that I worked at was recently bought out by NFP and many employees did not take change well. They refused to welcome anyone who was new or is considered a "millennial" which made work life miserable at times. Ended up leaving for a better opportunity in a better work environment.

Thank you for your feedback - it sounds like you didn’t have a good onboarding experience and that’s the opposite of what we strive for. In fact, we’re proud of our process and we’ve worked hard to make each new hire feel welcome with meet and greets, personalized training plans with plenty of info about the company, our industry, new teammates and the specific job role. Our intro to NFP is virtual, allowing every new hire to access the orientation from any place. What’s more, we strive to create a diverse workforce that can be innovative and supportive to our diverse client base and proudly welcome all people who share our core company values. We regret that you didn’t feel your work experience with us was what you had expected and encourage all our employees to reach out to their manager, office leader, business line leader or Human Resources to gain knowledge of tools and resources available or to provide feedback to improve our employees experience.

Pros

Remote work available, summer hours

Cons

Promotions are surface level and not a lot of actual experience driven, resources lack, communication lack, decisions are driven by capitalism and not customer focused
