Pros
Used to be a great company to work for for decades, not so much not anymore.
Cons
Too many companies were acquired by NOV but never properly integrated, tons of inefficiencies. Career growth is mismanaged, e.g. failed mechanical engineers are promoted into business positions creating a plethora of incompetent mid-management "directors" and "VPs" running the business into the ground. Also, when a US company starts outsourcing and bringing a lot of Indians on board, you know the business is going south and cost-compete downhill.
