      Pros

      Worldwide company (based in Houston) so possibility to move if desired. Good benefits (health/dental/etc) and generally a good team spirit practiced in most offices.

      Cons

      Too many inefficient and poor managers are left in their jobs without help to improve. When the oil price drops a large amount of people lose their jobs.

      Very work/life balance friendly. Very strong benefits package.

      Cons

      Very Siloed. NOV is the result of over 100 acquisitions and the fractured condition of systems and procedures is evident. Leadership is working on it.
