Everything is good until you meet an incompetent leader who chooses a path without consulting anyone any raising concerns or predicting outcomes early will most likely lead you to be sidelined. You can never really understand why certain directions are taken. More frustrating part is that few favourites to leadership tend to have more influence without any prior knowledge about certain areas. When projects don’t work after years of effort, the results are often explained through carefully presented numbers.
