      Staff is friendly and willing to help newcomers in the company

      Cons

      Salary is extremely low even for an ALT, no paid-time off days (even Interac covers paid leave for teachers), transportation costs covered are only partial, no insurance coverage

      Pros

      This company placed me in great schools where I enjoyed teaching. They care a lot about their employees' well-being, and about placing the right teachers in the right schools.

      Cons

      Schools' budgets are tight, and make it difficult to pay teachers well.

      Pros

      The staff were great. No micromanaging. I wasn't bothered by them. I guess I was just lucky. Schools were very friendly! The office staff were easy to talk to and replied quickly to all concerns. This was only of my favorite jobs in Japan!

      Cons

      They do provide teaching materials, but not that much.
