The firm on occasion is faced with a difficult decision to let go one of its members. Often this is based on incidents, including, but not limited to, a negative client feedback and lack of production numbers. However, the firm provides our members monthly feedback along with a fair number of warnings before a decision is made to terminate the relationship. We regret to hear the reviewer above felt that advance notice was not provided before the termination. The firm respectfully disagrees but the reviewer is entitled to his/her opinion. The firm, however, wishes to set the record straight about the reviewer’s misleading statement that the firm lays off “at least one Associate almost every quarter.” The reviewer is being less than honest with this statement. This is obvious based on the admission by the reviewer of being employed less than a year. This is also why the reviewer appears to have inserted the word “almost” in his/her statement to hide not knowing the fact.
