Pros

Flexibility of work hours; Health insurance, building security staff is friendly. Building has nice restrooms. Building workers clean daily. Cleaning staff is extremely friendly.

Cons

Everything else. As the previous reviews mentioned, unless your Korean you have no chance of surviving here. Retaliation, favoritism, abs abuse of power is definitely what you’ll get working here. If you happen to upset one of the Korean workers unintentionally... or if they just don’t like you prepared to be fired! Management is very deceitful and none of the managing partner can be trusted in my opinion. During my time there, several people were terminated without cause and the constant fear if you could be the next is stressful. Consider other firms before seeking employment with this firm.

NSIP Law Response

We regret to hear that your experience with NSIP Law was not as positive. Thank you for noting our flexible hours. Our health insurance is also excellent and some of our departing employees have decided to retain their coverage through our firm for as long as possible. We, however, respectfully disagree with your opinion about favoritism and our ethics. We value transparency and diversity. The managing partner heads the HR matters for the firm, and in most cases, there exists HR records in support of the termination. The firm invests great deal of resources, often including the paid training and the training provided by the other paid senior employees, to bring someone with little experience to competent professional. This may take 1-2 years. To then, “terminate without cause” this trained employee makes little business sense. Again, we regret you feel your experience was not as positive and we will continue to better ourselves for our employees. Sincerely, NSIP Law

Pros

Unlike the below reviews, I believe I have benefited from my time here, so I thought I would post. I came to the firm with a little experience, but the people and management I work with are helpful and generous with respect to their time, and I’ve been given more independence and responsibility as I gain more experience. I’ve learned a lot, and also have gained a better understanding of some of the bigger picture things the attorneys deal with and consider. The benefits seem comparable to other DC firms. I’ve also made friends here, and the partners make efforts to keep things flexible and friendly around the office, which makes doing my job a lot easier and more fulfilling. I actually look forward to each day.

Cons

Honestly, in my experience here, if you are a reasonable and easy to get along person you won’t have any issues or concerns that won’t be considered and addressed by management. So I don’t have any real cons.

Pros

Great work environment with wonderful people to work with! Everyone gets along with everyone. I loved working here.

Cons

You are greatly underpaid, especially to be working/living in the DC-area! There is no HR department, everything goes through senior partner attorney's.
