Pros

Can’t think any off the top of my head. Maybe gives opportunities to people with no experience.

Cons

Gives too much responsibility with no official training, no leadership within departments. HR department is the partner of the firm and never looks out for anyone. You can be fired at the drop of a hat. Very vindictive. They tell you to be honest and then fire you for whatever you say. Raise and pay doesn’t reflect your workload or experience. A ridiculous sign-on bonus and 2year contract that can’t be legal. As you can see from all the responses from the company, they throw anyone they can under the bus. The partner/owner never reaches out to the teams to touch base. You barely see him at all. Stays hidden in his office.

Pros

Unlike the below reviews, I believe I have benefited from my time here, so I thought I would post. I came to the firm with a little experience, but the people and management I work with are helpful and generous with respect to their time, and I’ve been given more independence and responsibility as I gain more experience. I’ve learned a lot, and also have gained a better understanding of some of the bigger picture things the attorneys deal with and consider. The benefits seem comparable to other DC firms. I’ve also made friends here, and the partners make efforts to keep things flexible and friendly around the office, which makes doing my job a lot easier and more fulfilling. I actually look forward to each day.

Cons

Honestly, in my experience here, if you are a reasonable and easy to get along person you won’t have any issues or concerns that won’t be considered and addressed by management. So I don’t have any real cons.

Pros

Great work environment with wonderful people to work with! Everyone gets along with everyone. I loved working here.

Cons

You are greatly underpaid, especially to be working/living in the DC-area! There is no HR department, everything goes through senior partner attorney's.
