Pros

So far nothing, if I have to say something, no technical interview before joining, very low bar to enter.

Cons

Toxic culture, they tend to left the interns alone in the corner without giving any training. They are well-known inside UCSD for hiring free interns to "work for a professor" but get class units instead of money. This is a grey area where students are worked for business products but claimed as "open source project". More importantly, they talk about interns behind their backs with many complaints. The fact that in other review said "beach house" where they never had a working location that is actually a beach house is an accurate summarization about their culture. Everyone is paid waaaay below market as mentioned in other reviews. Full times are paid less than 1/3 of the average SD salary (both software engineers and marketing people). They also have low work-life balance where before big released everyone is expected to work overtime unless you have a really good reason to leave. Upper management is a mess.
