Pros
If you're lucky, you can land a good branch with competent management (Bellevue and Southeast branches were the ones that everyone wanted when I was there). Good pay and benefits.
Cons
If you end up in a bad branch, there's usually no getting out. At my branch both the branch manager and direct supervisor were bullies. They would play power games and if you didn't play along, they would make up stuff about you to report to the higher ups (not doing work, bad attitude, etc.), especially if you stood up to the bullying. Those at the top don't like any staff who rock the boat or try to change the status quo, especially if you make an HR complaint about a manager. My advice: keep your head down during your first six months until probation is over, otherwise they will fire you to make an example.
