Pros

• The company offers a funded study programme, which is a positive benefit for professional development. • Pension contributions are generous compared to many employers. • Some colleagues are supportive and do their best despite the pressure.

Cons

• The onboarding function is extremely stressful and heavily target-driven. Employees are expected to manage over 20 cases and around 10 approvals daily, which is often unrealistic given the workload and complexity. • Employees are pushed to work extremely hard and consistently operate at maximum capacity, yet this effort is not matched with recognition or progression. • Career progression is very unclear. I have been in my role for a while, and whenever I ask about promotion, there is little to no information provided, or the conversation is avoided altogether. • Promotions do not appear to be based purely on performance. Opportunities seem to be given mainly to those who are favoured, rather than to those who consistently work hard. • There is a lack of appreciation for employees who perform well, while colleagues who frequently call in sick or underperform appear to face little accountability. • Management expects staff to be involved in everything, which has resulted in micromanagement rather than trust. • Since 2023, the culture has changed significantly. The focus is now heavily on numbers and targets rather than employee wellbeing. • Managers are often very quiet and do not provide enough communication or clarity, which creates confusion, increases stress, and leads to burnout across teams.
