Pros
I worked at NatWest for 6 years in various roles. - great progression opportunities - pay is good & yearly increases - great benefits; annual leave, company benefits/schemes - an inclusive & approachable place to work - I always had really supportive managers - great flexibility with hours (I did full time over 4 days; flexible with hybrid - wfh/office)
Cons
- in the end you just feel like a number & so many redundancies & restructures over the last 5 years - it just became stressful working there never knowing when something would change. Communication & increase in this seemed much worse under Paul Thwaite - as in any corporate job, some people don’t pull their weight and continuously get away with it whilst others break their backs for their department/teams. It became increasingly frustrating the last few years.
