Pros
-Accrual of sick time and vacation in addition to getting personal time and the 12 holidays off is difficult to beat. -Retirement/pension plan is great. -Overall, it's a friendly environment.
Cons
-Lack of communication between departments is a detriment to the institution. -Little-to-no room for growth. -*Some* of the management is inflexible and unapproachable. -No performance reviews given. -Because NKI is tied to New York State, state fiscal problems are felt to some degree by NKI employees.
