Pros

- Training and courses are available if that interests you

Cons

- Never experienced such a toxic work place before. - Every single day staff are fighting and screaming at each other. If not, constant he said she said and Chinese whispers. - Staff who decide they don't like each other this week will refuse to work together, resulting in an operational and safety hazard. - Management completely absent. I'm not actually sure who my boss(es) actually are. The one who is my boss is only there once a week, and when is there, only for a few hours and unapproachable. The other managers who I think might be my bosses avoid all the action. If you need them, you can't find them. - Regular issues with payroll, have to check over every payslip, which is confusing in its format. - You are required to have an extensive skillset, professional upkeep/appearance, but are paid minimum wage (26ph) while adjacent companies are paying you up to 6ph higher. - Incredibly long hiring process, delays in receiving contract, yet pressure to start ASAP, impacting your notice period with your former employer. - Due to the absence of management, and the staff regularly fighting, other coworkers of the same job title and pay rate assume authority and use stand over tactics. For example, confiscating phones (illegal). - Most your shifts are 3am starts, which come with penalty rates, but the shifts are often only 4 hours long. - Rostering is inconsistent. Have to pay close attention, they will roster you from 3am to 7am, and expect you to be back at 11am for another shift until 3pm. 12 hour day, but only getting paid for 8. - SOP's are not easy to find. Your procedures generally depend on who is on shift, and what they want to happen. Challenge them politely, respectfully and collaboratively? you'll get drama. - Your shifts will focus more on managing the moods of your coworkers than they will on high performance. - I'm sure there's more.

Pros

Most of the Good hard workers within the safety team have found a new place to work. No Pros at all

Cons

Owner doesn’t know anything about running an airline, just look at Rex and can see the same trend happening again. The CEO and MC have no balls and can’t stand up to the Owner who will end up making them go to jail because he walks away scotch free. Lies to CASA and makes deals behind close door to keep them operating. Underpay all their employees and give them false promises. Don’t care about safety what’s so ever. No just culture. Now Bonding everyone for training. Making all employees sign on with a 3 month notice period BHP have been having the wool pulled over their eyes. Fires anyone who stands up and calls them out. The list keeps going on…
