This company does not respect employees, at a regional conference we were told my a regional manager something to the affect that we were grape jelly but we could always be replaced with strawberry jelly. Basically that we were expendable. They don't pay anything near other optical retailers and there is so much work you. I was in a location where most people had government insurance/welfare, and we still expected to make at least $200 sales which is nearly impossible. Upper management does not care at all and are not willing to work with you for help in sales, availability, and conflict with other employees. They also just fired my former manager after a maternity leave and she worked there for 10 years. The only redeeming qualities are that they are willing to take people with no experience and at all locations are closed on sundays but that's probably going to change soon

Lots of overtime opportunities to be had. Vending machines and free coffee

Cons

Overtime is often mandatory in peak season.
