Pros

1. Great tip ratio to pay 2. Half off meals you get there and free drinks

Cons

Where do I start? 1. They make it their GOAL to give you as few hours possible, NOT a sustainable job LITERALLY hire more people to use the same hours per week requieed just so you only get 8 hours per week 2. NO HR, if you have problems, corporate laughs it off ( I got chemical burns from an untrained employee and they tried to fire me when I asked to talk to HR ) 3. Management is picked for how cold cut they can be, management will tell you to your face they don't care about you, and refuse to help even during a rush as they understaff us to save money then blame you if something goes wrong 4. Changed owners of the company so many times and they're still planning major changes for a company floundering 5. There's no point succeeding, used to be locations around the US, now it's 12 after losing over half, so employing here is opting to work on a sinking ship 5. Because of instability, you literally become their last concern, so treatment to employees is often times borderline abusive and illegal. I've seen employees get yelled at and called idiots in front of the entire restaurant for making a simple mistake first starting, caught managers getting frisky both in the back and in the fridge where FOOD is stored ( YUCK ), watched management steal then employees get burned for it, and people go unpaid for weeks if corporate makes a mistake.

Pros

It's a very easy job and the customers are usually pretty friendly. The menu is easy to learn and the food is pretty good. Great if you are a vegan/vegetarian because you always have access to cheap (and sometimes free) veggie food. This job was a nice resume builder and it gave me experience with customer service, management, and working in a restaurant. Tips were pretty good since we made minimum wage base pay.

Cons

Upper management needs improvement. I was lucky to have one of the best managers in the whole company but I would often visit other locations and it was clear that there is little continuity between locations and there is little structure as far as training, raising up leaders, and executing pay increases. The atmosphere was often cliquey. I saw shift leads step down to be regular employees because being a lead didn't pay enough to deal with that amount of stress. My GM was also severely underpaid. The company is growing and getting better but it's also focusing on changing PR rather than dealing with internal structural issues. Day to day work was usually monotonous and not usually rewarding.
