Pros

They have a friendly, healthy work environment. There are lunch and learns where free lunch is provided and the doctors do zoom educational lunches. Pay is above average. There is opportunity to learn and grow..to a point. Other than raises the only way to go up the ladder is to applly for office manager but it takes a few years to get to that point for sure. 90% of the patients are nice...some are not so nice.....challenging but they have a lot going on medically. If you want to learn about integrative medicine...medicine in general and how these places make money you will learn a lot. They will pay for extra training if you ask. The culture is very honest and fair. Patients are charged very fair prices and are treated with respect. There is profit sharing. They pay for gym memberships.

Cons

Its a more demanding reception job. Its really also administrative assistant and also shares some medical assistant characteristics. Definitely not a bimbo job where you just answer the phone. The health insurance plan is a low deductible silver plan though United that I could not afford even though they pay half. Most front desk saff last about 2 years because they move on the medical school or other career training...not really a con.
