Pros
Integrated Oncology Network (ION) is a great company to work for. Over the past year, there has been a lot of growth with the acquisition of two companies. ION is making strides to make improvements and to become an employer of choice. The leadership is caring and really values their employees. There is a lot of growth potential. I am glad to be employed with an amazing company and all the wonderful work to help our patients.
Cons
Some work flows are manual but look forward to automation.
Compassionate physicians and clinicians that want to do what's best medically for patients going through Oncology or Urology issues. Platform that has the capability of being the best in the Oncology space but lacked capable leaders to steer the ship.
Cons
Knee jerk reactions of senior leadership to satiate whoever was complaining to them by throwing the baby out with the bath water. The Senior Leadership team in an effort to put some points on the board sped past proper due diligence and acquired practices they had no idea how to manage or integrate allowing for every practice to be their own snowflake that would never be managed. Lack of accountability for directors and or leaders adhering to strategic goals and or cost savings activities contributing to ION missing out on competitive advantages that could set themselves a part in the industry.
Lukewarm senior leadership is driving the company toward a terrible state and has squandered the momentum of key teams that were irreplaceable catalysts.
