Pros
Be very cautious if you are interviewing with this company.
Cons
**Very Disappointing Hiring and Immigration Experience**
I had a highly disappointing experience with Navitas Semiconductor's hiring and immigration process.
After nearly 4 weeks of interviews, I received an offer letter and was then connected with the immigration team to begin my H-1B transfer process. The team requested extensive documentation, which I promptly provided. However, despite collecting all the required documents, there was virtually no progress for over a month.
During that time, I repeatedly followed up with both the immigration and HR teams. The only response I consistently received was that my case was being worked on. Even after more than a month, the Labor Condition Application (LCA) had not been filed. I was later informed that the LCA would be filed "soon," but after that, communication largely stopped. Emails went unanswered, and there were no meaningful status updates despite continuous follow-ups.
Eventually, after weeks of uncertainty and delays, I was informed that my offer was being rescinded due to "business needs." This was particularly difficult because I was relying on this opportunity as an H-1B employee and had invested significant time, effort, and trust in the process.
While I understand that business priorities can change, the lack of transparency, prolonged delays, poor communication, and failure to provide timely updates created unnecessary stress and put me in a very challenging immigration situation. Candidates, especially those requiring visa sponsorship or transfers, deserve clear communication and timely decisions.
I hope the company improves its hiring and immigration processes to avoid putting future candidates in similar situations.
