Pros

Talented people - you'll definitely have a chance to improve your technical skills. All the analysts here are very skilful compared to employees of other companies. Proactive environment - Apart from BAU tasks, you are encouraged to find new ideas and experiment them. Agile Working - that's not very common for Data Analytics due to the high number of ad-hoc requests but this is very well managed here.

Cons

You might need to spend extra time on things like showcasing your work, be a 'champion' of a subject/tool etc., or working on subjects that are not in your area/responsibility. Although these things might sound like a pro, sometimes they might become quite distractive and result in overloading in terms of workload.

Pros

Very youthful, forward-thinking company who are showing great strength in a time of distrust, anxiety and great change. Employees are made to feel valued and given the opportunity to dive into insightful work, and there is a great social side of work too.

Cons

Pay is not very competitive, although it will suffice. The company promotes flexible working, although this is not always the case - especially in comparison to other companies.

Pros

Smallish company allows you to really make your mark and your voice is heard.

Cons

Sainsburys is awful. Hierarchical and weird pay periods. Managers in nectar do not seem to care at the higher levels. The managers that did were ousted during a restructure.
