You have to deal with the trauma of our clients but it’s worth it!

A good work environment exists within the Family Center. Everyone was nice and willing to help. My team felt like a family; we all had each other's backs. The family department director was flexible and very understanding when it came to balancing work/school. Expectations were laid out up front.

I gave my notice a couple of months in advance, trying to be nice so they could have enough time to find someone (the department director was going on leave), and then I didn't get the Christmas bonus because it was for "people who stayed working for the company". The department itself was nice to work with, but upper management was unrealistic about the actual work we needed to do. I didn't directly deal with that, but my co-workers did, if you were on the good list they were willing to help if not it was difficult.
