Pros
History - these guys are hardcore genXers who made something of themselves through hard work, genuine stoke and a good instinct for what's next. Unknown to me at the time, they had me re-inspired to what advertising was, is and could be. I couldn't be more grateful for the time I spent learning, absorbing, collaborating, chanting, whistling, wahoo'ing... it almost feels like a dream if I were to be totally honest. I've come away more proud of the work I did with Nemo than anything prior to it.
Cons
Innovation - this agency has survived some of the hardest hits to the ad scene by sticking to and digging into what they know best; design and storytelling. The Nemo culture is a direct product from hard working people putting in good hours, together. Anyone who experiences it can tell you... it's rather magical. It's this energy that keeps them going on, moving forward and progressing, together. But progression isn't innovation. In a client and investor landscape that obsesses over the term "innovation", Nemo tends to be limited by what it knows, not what it believes or can foresee. For many of its clients, Nemo is exactly what they need.
