Pros

Good health insurance and employees are give great tools to use.

Cons

This is a very unstable place to work. The owners will fight so loud that we can hear them in other rooms, it was very awkward. We have loss countless clients due to the female owner and her unprofessional ways. They have only gain one client while I was there and loss over half their clients during that time. A lot of clients complain about turn over, projects not being handled correctly and that Netrix cancels a lot of their appointments. We had to cancel appointments due to the owners wishes because she was not prepared for the meeting. The female owner once told us that only she makes sales in the company, so if you are counting on making more money with commissions it won’t be through new revenue . Most of the new recruits think they can change things because the male owner is cool, however after going to his office to talk to him about an HR issue I had I was fired a week later because I “was not a good fit/unemployment eligible” I went to talk to him about being “talked to” (bullied/nit picked by the same peer) about something the peer felt I did wrong however, when I pulled up the process on the companies intranet I did everything correct. We were also expected to work over 40 hours most weeks, many late night meetings that solved nothing and went no where, so there is no work life balance.

Software training has been down (not their fault). Building a new team. Pace of work for amount of teammates. No match on 401k. Review of onboarding not completed.

Pros

-Lots of talented technicians -Great teamwork among the tech team -Popcorn machine in break room (Mike makes fantastic popcorn) -Casual for a cause fridays -Exposure to lots of different types of technology -Company believes in giving back to community

Cons

-Lack of experienced leadership, third party consultants are often brought in to "help" guide ownership. This leads to lots of turn and burn results. -Employees are often told it is not a 40 hour work week and are expected to put in uncompensated time on the regular. -Policies and procedures are often changed on a whim and not well thought out or documented. -No formal training for new hires (sink or swim mentality) -No 401k match -Employees are expected to enter electronic time logs to account for how they spent every minute of the day. Time logs are scrutinized and questioned by management. No leeway is given in this regard. -It is tough for low-tiered techs to grow skillset due to pressure to escalate tickets immediately. -High turn over rate for employees -On call is quite tasking and demanding for techs. Leadership does not participate in on-call.
