      Pros

      Many smart people trying to do their best in a very difficult environment.

      Cons

      A very complex and worthless main customer project. Grossly overcomplicated and buggy code. A mandate to patch, patch, patch thousands of bugs rather than actually fix anything. Morally reprehensible aspects to the main project. Very poor tools. Distant management. Very rapid employee turnover.

      The clients we work with have complex and difficult problems to deal with and create challenging work. They hire us to provide software solutions. It's our business model to find solutions to difficult problems. Companies hire Nevelex to build software to release to their customers in spite of difficulties along the way. Our team is committed and is very successful in performing this work.

      Pros

      If you have initiative and a healthy desire for a challenge, this is a great place to work. You can define your own value and make a personal contribution. The people are great.

      Cons

      The business is very dependent upon its customer's needs and that means that project goals can change quickly. High risk, if you're deeply invested in a particular technology that becomes obsolete.
