Pros

Commission based, good leadership around you, team feeling, motivated company, travel opportunities earned, genuine opportunity to move up in the company if you work hard enough

Cons

Very, very misleading job description before you’re hired and even in the Zoom call interviews. There are 3-5 different employment opportunities in this company, yet every one of them do the exact same thing, not counting higher level management. There is no “marketing” or “management” aspect to this job. You are standing inside a store (Sam’s Club, Costco, Target) cold-approaching people that are shopping for groceries, asking them to switch their wireless carrier and buy new phones. That’s the business. Poor work life balance Minimum wage ($10/hr) if not exceeded by commission Very up and down job, can get extremely boring and stale Standing up every second of the shift Sometimes 9 hours shifts Multi level marketing , closest thing to pyramid scheme you can find, no matter what they tell you. Even as a “business owner” in this business, you will never have the full rights to your business and people above you can pull the plug and relocate you across the country if they so wish. Not a business I want to own. The employers prey on naive, young people and students who have just graduated HS or college and think this is a golden opportunity that they make it out to be, when you are just making the people above you richer.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your positive comments about our leadership, team spirit, motivation, and growth opportunities. However, we would like to clarify some points regarding your concerns. Our roles involve direct marketing and sales, which are crucial aspects of our business model and foundational for higher-level management positions. We strive to provide clear and accurate job descriptions as well as a three round interview process where applicants are encouraged to ask any further questions to ensure full transparency. We understand that sales roles can be demanding and encourage open communication to address any concerns and work towards a balanced schedule. Our compensation structure includes both a base pay and commission, rewarding hard work and dedication. We are not a multi-level marketing company; we offer genuine career growth based on performance, aiming to empower our employees. We value all feedback to enhance our work environment. Please reach out directly with any further concerns. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Pros

You might meet some cool co-workers while working here. I personally did. Also, the office park this place is headquartered at is pretty nice.

Cons

You have to wake up real early, dress in business professional every morning, and be at this uptown office park by 7 AM. You will be expected to arrive early, even if you don't get paid (I was SPECIFICALLY told to arrive more than 15 minutes earlier than I was scheduled for or else I would be considered "late"). Once you arrive, you will do very little and talk about stuff that could have just been an email for about an hour in a half. You will be expected to write everything down in a notebook to prove you are "paying attention". Then you will leave, go stand in the frozen foods aisle of a Costco for 8 hours whilst approaching and annoying passing grocery shoppers with the same tagline over and over until you can finally convince someone to subscribe to a lowly-rated water delivery service or whatever product they are having you promote at the time, which you will get $50 for. If you don't do these enough times by the end of the week, well, then congratulations you just wasted your time.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to clarify that our team members are only scheduled and compensated for their agreed-upon hours, and we do not require unpaid work. Punctuality and professionalism are expectations in any client-facing role, but they are never tied to unpaid time. Our morning meetings are structured training sessions focused on skill development, communication, and performance coaching - which are essential in a sales and marketing environment. Field marketing in retail settings is also clearly communicated during the hiring process, as it is a core part of the position. We strive to be transparent about responsibilities, compensation structure, and growth opportunities from the start, and we encourage candidates to ask questions to ensure the role aligns with their goals. We appreciate all feedback and continuously work to improve the experience for our team.
