Pros

General team mates are fantastic. The team has formed a tight trauma bond over the many challenges faced within the business. The business does offer flexibility and they are very proud of that. Hiring manages are advised to lean on that due to the financial restrictions placed on wages. I say it's 2024, flexibility is the new normal.

Cons

1. Terrible pay (15-20K less then other other MSPs in the area) 2. Terrible Communication from business leaders, often leading to miscommunication as well from middle management. 3. Staff are not supported by management 4. Siloed Operations and Business Segmentation Each office is isolated within operations, there is limited collaboration between offices, creating segmentation in offerings 5. HR Team are quite dismissive and unprofessional when raising concerns 6. Secrets... More secrets. There is no open communication, when raising questions that could result in the business being perceived in a negative manner, you are advised to be keep it to yourself and that changes are coming soon... they never come. 7. No training or development. This often comes out of your own pocket and can't be done on work time. The business has a long way to go. It's got a long 5-10 years ahead of it.

Pros

Remote work. Work life balance. Reasonable leaders who care. I can't speak to the other areas of New Era, but the Indianapolis / Minneapolis offices are amazing to work for.

Cons

Health insurance is meh. It's really not that great. Retirement is okay. A few customers can challenging to work with. There's a wide portfolio, though, so 95% of the customers are pretty good.

Pros

Most of the people are great, fully remote work, diverse culture

Cons

Literally everything else. Terrible upper management, only concern is getting signed contracts but they RIF continuously so there is no one to actually DO the work. Everyone is miserable except the newbies and those "thankful they have a job", (which is a horrible way to live). They lie to the employees and edit questions in town halls so there is nothing difficult discussed. Always claim "our employees are our success", yet they treat us like easily discarded annoyances.
