Pros
All of the people who work in the sales or sales manager jobs are pretty nice and easy to get along with.
Cons
That's about it. It's a solar company, so at least they're helping the environment. Pretty much every employee is set out into random neighborhoods to knock on people's doors and recite a pitch. Obviously, homeowners hate that. The higher ups in the company seem to believe the only way to market a product and get sales is through door-to-door. I'm not saying that door-to-door doesn't work, but it's literally the only method that this company uses. Also, you can work 35 hours a week and make no money because it's all commission. And yeah, I've heard the "If you don't like that, then sales just isn't for you." That's kind of bogus. Most sales jobs pay much better with a base and are way more dynamic. This company seems to rely on people desperate for work, and their turnover is quite high. If you are the most social person on the planet, have no problem saying the same thing 100 times a day, and don't mind walking miles through random neighborhoods, then maybe this job can work for you. If not, see ya.
