I had to be the one to initiate all of my onboarding training. I had to be the one to email first to ask to schedule a training. Despite being told that I'd receive an email from someone about when we'd schedule the Day 2 training, I waited a week before sending an email to that person about scheduling our Day 2 training only for it to be scheduled 12 days after my Day 1 training. I had to repeat several times to several different people that I was not willing to travel to a certain county because it was too far away. When I emailed for advice on protocol and how to have an initial interview with a client, I was asked to call instead, and then they told me that therapists are given autonomy to do whatever they view is best. I felt like I wasn't going to be supported here. When I asked for help with accessing client paperwork, they seemed confused as to why I needed help with it. The following day, they finally shared with me folders of client information. That's when I knew that they were not here to support me, and I might as well have been self employed because they did not help set me up for success.
