      Pros

      Due to a nature of the mining industry, this company has activities across the globe. As a result working with people from various cultures and languages is a day to day usual. So as a foreigner you feel comfortable and the company also has various career advancement opportunities. The company pays well and has a good benefits package including a pension program.

      Cons

      Not much. No company is perfect off course, but Newmont in general stands out.

      Generally good people. Pay and benefits are decent

      Cons

      Management keeps taking away employee perks and seems to only want to hoard more of the wealth, Record gold prices yet we continue to have cuts and had multiple waves of layoffs... disgusting. No upward mobility
