Pros
The first job I entered as soon as I graduated. I continued to support my job, which I started as a genome analyst, by working on methods such as DNA isolation, PCR, Real time pcr from time to time in the laboratory. I also perform whole exome sequencing, clinical exome sequencing, disease panels, single gene analyses, NGS analyzes and microarray analyses. I have entered my 3rd year in the profession and I am still working at my first job. As a plus, I can say that it provides the opportunity to improve myself in many areas. I had the opportunity to observe what many genes can cause by being intertwined with many diseases. At the same time, I got my specialist title while working because it supports my school. I was able to progress in both laboratory and analysis.
Cons
They had a policy to increase the workload of the remaining ones a little in order to fill the place of the employee who left because he changed employees frequently. I can't consider this as a disadvantage as it gives the employee the opportunity to develop himself, but I don't think there is anything bad that I can say.
