Pros
A good job to take while you are looking for something better. It's remote so it is easy to interview or work on your own projects and still get a paycheck.
Cons
This is a very conservative company and leadership is waiting for their payday when Thoma Bravo sells the company (or sells it for parts). They do not care about improving the customer experience nor do they care about treating their employees with any respect. This is why they mainly hire out of India because of their unquestioning loyalty and obediance (and the fact that they get paid a fraction of what US-based employees make). I am pretty sure I was on my way out because of my political leanings as well as my empathy for the end user. I tried to change things for the better, but it was met with derision and apathy. I am glad I changed careers and no longer have to deal with people like them. HR has way too much power there. They are setting themselves up for a lawsuit and I am grabbing my popcorn.
