Nextgen has a strong people culture and manages a distributed work force of 190 team members across 15 countries around the world. We promote our core values throughout the company by example from leadership, throughout the teams via regular formal meetings, regular company updates via conference calls, newsletters and Town Halls. We also run quarterly staff surveys which are anonymous and have found the feedback very valuable in the last few years and acted upon a number of staff suggestions. Our current CEO, who has been in this role for 10 months, together with our HR Manager, are determined to continue promoting our “open door” policy and a fun, challenging, friendly and rewarding workplace environment.

Pros

1. Quarterly employee engagement activities 2. Wellness programs for employees 3. Weekly provision of healthy snacks 4. Strong focus on work-life balance (no expectation to work beyond scheduled shifts) 5. Flexible work-from-home options (e.g., once a month or extended periods for valid reasons such as medical needs, family events, or accidents) 6. Maternity benefits, including 182 days of paid leave and flexible work-from-home options before and after maternity leave for at least one to two months

Cons

1. Some old employees in the organization who are here from over 10 years have achieved the poisition of managers are very biased because of which the people resign and leave and this information has never reached management 2. Some team managers feel they own the company and moreover they take all the decision and tend to act like directors, also management supports them 3. The office space is shared and the concerned authority who overlooks the property is way too old and has old mentality and mindset. they wouldnot allow you to sit on a chair relaxed, donot talk in pantry donot talk in office donot talk in walk way. the only section where we can talk is outside office building. the directors from shared space comes at pantry and tells employees to shut up and get out if employees are chitchatting and giggling in the pantry. 3. you will get addicted to the work environment here, wont be able to learn more as the work is monotonous
