Beautiful farm but terrible employee experience - Anonymous employee Nicobar Employee Review

Nicobar is a remarkable brand, with a beautiful workplace and a large, diverse, passionate team. The co-founders have a distinct vision and ambitious goals, and that clarity of purpose is galvanising to work within. As the brand has scaled, so have its ambitions, and the environment has become increasingly demanding and high-pressure. That's not unusual for a brand at this stage of growth, and having worked across several companies and agencies, I'd say it comes with the territory. What I can say is that I've learned a great deal here and continue to. The work is meaningful, the brand is genuinely one to watch, and there's real pride in what we're building together.

Processes are not always very efficient. There are multiple stakeholders and sign-offs for work, which can make things slow and quite frustrating for teams.
