This company is a horrible place to work. They lack leadership and have a horrible culture. The job was posted and communicated by the hiring team at $120k salary. I went through the entire interview process and when they made the offer it came in at $75k. My peers throughout the organization were being paid the $120k salary. I was very disappointed but accepted the job anyway. I asked for them to make the salary correction and was told they were working on it and it nothing was done to remedy the situation. My division president left the company and was replaced by in incompetent person who was recently demoted from that position. My boss also left shortly after that because he saw the writing on the wall. He was replaced by an inexperienced Account manager who was still managing his account rather than managing his people. He would regularly not show up to my meetings without notice. After a major re-organization there was no clear workflow between account management, procurement and plant operations and being a smaller division we were told many times that our projects and customers were too small for them to work on our accounts. I was fired in retaliation to escalating a number of issues throughout the organization that were causing my customers to miss deliveries. It was my role to manage my customers and make sure they were happy and growing in revenue. After trying to address the supply chain and plant issues that were causing my customers to miss deliveries by months myself without success I escalated these issues to my manager and he ignored my requests for help. I then escalated them further and my emails and pleas for help were ignored. I was fired without any warnings verbal or written. Every review I had was outstanding and I grew my book of business from $18M to $22M in the time I was there. When I asked why I was being fired they said "We don't want to talk about it" I asked again and they responded "We dont have to have a reason and if you have any other questions you can talk to legal" When I reached out to legal they told me the same thing. I filed for unemployment and my claim was disputed by the company and they claimed I was fired for misconduct. I was shocked. When I showed up to the hearing with unemployment Nidec did not show up and changed the reason for termination to "performance" I did not receive the normal severance they provide to everyone else and they took away my non vested 401k balance. They are dishonest, conniving, backstabbing and evil. If you are considering a position with this company I would reconsider. Since the reorganization over 40 quality people I worked with who are very good at their jobs have left the company because they understand that this company does not value their employees or customers.
