Pros

Think overall its a good job that allows you to build a strong skillset and have a well known name on your resume. Work can also be interesting and a lot of valuable insight can be extracted from the company's data assets. Immediate coworkers are also smart, hardworking, care about their work product, and are good to be around in the breakroom talking about things outside of work.

Cons

Compensation is bad and below industry average, Despite the firm's position as one of the premier players in the space. You will work hard and generate significant revenue for the firm and then receive cost-of-living adjustments below inflation for a real pay cut and no performance bonus all while being fed news about revenue growth and large client acquisitions/renewals. The expectation shouldn't be that every incremental dollar an employee generates goes back to them, but it needs to feel more like a mutually beneificial relationship especially as when leadership constantly is giving good news about the firm and their equity in it.
