Pros

-The product has potential, and the team below leadership works hard despite impossible conditions. -Colleagues support each other because they have to, survival depends on it.

Cons

The leadership culture is toxic. Disrespect and rude behavior are constant. Leaders talk down to people, publicly embarrass employees, and focus only on negatives even when goals are met. There’s no real communication, just unclear direction, last-minute demands, and blame when things go wrong. It’s a place where burnout is normalized and fear drives performance. Good people leave because they’re tired of being demeaned, ignored, and blamed for leadership failures. The company could thrive, but not under the current behavior at the top.

Pros

I’m someone who enjoys startup environments, so this has been a great fit for me. There is a lot of autonomy, ownership, and opportunity to make an impact. I get to work closely with people across the company, and everyone has been welcoming and open to collaboration. The culture feels healthy, and I genuinely feel heard and valued.

Cons

This type of environment isn’t for everyone. You have to be comfortable with accountability, figuring things out, and staying motivated without a lot of direction. As with many growing startups, not every process or playbook exists yet, so there are times when you need to build the structure yourself.

Pros

Product is good, but not evolving fast enough to compete with market. I genuinely struggle to understand how this company maintains a 3.8-star rating. The majority of positive reviews are anonymous and tend to appear immediately after candid negative feedback, which strongly suggests review manipulation. Prospective candidates should be aware that the role is likely to be a significant disappointment.

Cons

The company suffers from a fundamental absence of effective leadership, compounded by a pervasive boys’ club culture that consistently marginalizes and disrespects women. Ask during your interview how many women they have in leadership roles, it’s zero! The entire C-suite lacks prior leadership experience, which is evident in their limited understanding of how to run and scale an effective organization. The sales function is equally dysfunctional: top-performing Account Executives have departed, remaining reps are not held accountable, and sales targets are routinely missed without consequence. This environment has fostered a culture of fear that discourages transparency, feedback, and constructive disagreement. There is little to no accountability for managers or executives who treat staff disrespectfully, and the organization operates without defined processes—decisions are reactive, improvised, and frequently repeated due to a lack of structure. Layoffs and quiet firing happen frequently with absolutely zero transparency, your co-workers will just stop showing up on slack and they won’t mention anything about it.
